Bodoland Reading Week
The Department of Library Services organized Bodoland Reading Week from 10 September to 17 September 2024 which was inaugurated by Dr. Nilute Swargiary, Hon’ble EM of Library Services, I&PR and PHED Deptt., BTR respectively in the presence of Mr. Ractim Buragohai, ACS, Jt. Secretary, Library Services Deptt., BTC, Kokrajhar along with distinguished personalities.
Career Counselling Programme and Literary Awarness Programme
During FY 2023-24, the department organized 10 nos. of the Career Counselling Programme and Literary Awareness Programme to brighten students' futures in career selection and increase reading habits among the public and students under BTR. The department also constructed 10 Nos. of Village Library under BTR.
Library Inauguration
During the FY 2021-22, on 22nd June/2021 and 7th September/2021 the District Library, Baksa at Mushalpur and Sub-Divisional Library, Bhergaon, Udalguri was inaugurated by Sjt. Promod Boro, Hon’ble CEM of BTR, and Dr. Nilute Swargiary, Hon’ble EM of Library Services, I&PR and PHED Deptt., BTR respectively in the presence of Hon’ble EMs’ of the BTR along with distinguished personalities.
